The records that would have been created in the administration of Parker’s estate, showing his legal heirs and representatives, do not appear to have survived the courthouse fire of 1910. According to an inscription on the headstone for Parker Truitt in Copas Cemetery, Blue Creek, Adams, Ohio, he died on 7 June 1844 in the 81st year of his age. The headstone for his wife Rhoda shows she predeceased him by sixteen years, age sixty-five.
