Literature review - "Truitt Family of Worcester Co., Md" by Edna M Shannonhouse located in FHL Library TN-514888. Date micro fiched 15 Jan 1992. The family composition asserted by Shannonhouse, on information supplied by Marie Monson, North Bend, Oregon, is disproven by land deeds and the wills of John Truitt Snr. (1722) and Solomon Truitt (1770, Sussex, Del.) which confirm John and Hezekiah are the sons of Solomon not John (1722). No George was mentioned in the will of John Truitt Snr. made 1722.

2. John Truitt named as father of George Truitt d. ca. 1725
